Summary: Among the most common creatures that TEMPLARS face are vampires and they can be counted amongst the most deadliest. Pale skinned and cold to the touch, vampires are physically dead with no beating heart and recordable brain activity yet they remain very much alive. There is no scientific reasoning behind their immortality or thirst for blood but reason does not parley with such vermin. Their physical appearance is identical to that of a human besides their pale complexion and sharpened canine teeth which they use to puncture arteries. Vampires tend to evolve with the times having gone from graceful and elegant creatures who mingled and mixed within the higher ranks from being found in all sorts of social calling. This has made the modern vampire little more than an immortal thug yet still a dangerous one. Vampireism is an extremely communal disease gained by the bite of a vampire. In terms of personality most vampires tend to be hedonistic though this is not always the case.

Forget what you read or hear abut turning into mist or a flock of bats. Vampires retain no mythical abilities other than their quick regeneration rate.

Weaknesses

Silver: Bullets or blades made out of silver kill vampires if they impact into the brain or the heart. Skin contact is akin to pouring boiling water over someone's hand and can cause blistering. It is the only metal they are highly allergic to.

Garlic: Not lethal on its own, garlic is used as a way to debilitate a vampire's combat ability. Used in an aerosol it can be used like tear-gas, causing them to cry blood and sputter. Constant exposure can let a vampire build immunity so it is often best to dispatch a vampire suffering from the effects.

Ultraviolet: The sun's UV is a deadly enemy to a vampire and is harnessed by TEMPLARS in a number of ways. Strobe lights fitted with UV bulbs, bullets with UV liquid capsules. With UV weapons both skin contact and internal exposure can be deadly and are beginning to phase out silver weapons against vampires.
